Auctioneer License
Missouri Revised Statutes, Chapter 343
Statewide licenses are sold for one-month, three-month, six-month, or twelve-month periods. No person shall exercise the trade or business of a pubic auctioneer by selling any goods, property, or real estate, without a license, i.e., Missouri Revised Statue 343.010. Refer to Missouri Revised Statute 343.080 (1) for fee schedule. (2) An auctioneer license issued in any County of this State shall be valid in each county of this State during the period for which it is issued. (3) All fees imposed by this section shall be paid into the County general revenue fund.
Lincoln County Auctioneer License Application
Liquor License
To obtain a liquor license with Lincoln County:
- Apply for your liquor license within your municipality first, if applicable. Those in unincorporated areas within Lincoln County should apply with the State of Missouri first.
- After receiving the municipal liquor license(s), if applicable, apply for the State liquor license by visiting the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control website.
- After receiving your State liquor license(s), complete the Lincoln County Liquor License Application and mail to Lincoln County Clerk, 201 Main Street, Room 102, Troy, MO 63379. Include a copy of your municipal liquor license, if applicable, and State liquor license with your application as well as a copy of your No Tax Due Certificate issued by Missouri Department of Revenue. Be sure to include a phone number and email address where we can contact you during regular business hours. The application must be signed by the Licensee same as on the State license. The total amount due must be included with the application. Checks are to be made payable to Lincoln County. Cash is also accepted in person. Do NOT mail cash.
- You will receive your County liquor license by mail once payment has been received and the license signed by both the Lincoln County Clerk and Lincoln County Auditor. Licenses can be picked up at the County Clerk's office is arrangements have been made.
Liquor License Requirements and Information:
- A current or renewed State of Missouri liquor license is required to process a County liquor license.
- Submit fees as outlined on Fee Schedule. Pro-rated fees may apply.
- There is a $3.00 service fee for each license issued by the County.
- County liquor licenses expire at midnight, June 30th, each year. Applications and payments received after June 30th will be assessed a $50 late fee.
- It is required to possess a County liquor license (Picnic or Catering) for every picnic, festival, fair, or one-day event. This includes mobile locations as well as fixed addresses.
