MEDIA UPDATE – RESOLVED HOSTAGE SITUATION

MEDIA RELEASE – UPDATE

Justin Edward Linson of Silex, Missouri, who was apprehended after a 90-minute standoff with Law Enforcement on June 17th, 2022, has been charged with multiple offenses and received a $500,000 cash only bond.

On June 18th, 2022, Judge Gregory Allsberry issued a warrant for Linson’s arrest for the following charges:

1. Kidnapping, 1st Degree
2. Armed Criminal Action
3. Burglary, 1st Degree
4. Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention, or Stop
5. Sexual Misconduct, 1st Degree

Linson is currently housed at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
