The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office wants to partner with residents and business owners to help solve crime and keep our community safe. Registering your personal or business surveillance cameras may help deter crime and assist in our crime prevention strategy. Registration is fast and simple!

Help our Criminal Investigations Division protect your neighborhood by registering your cameras with the Citizens’ View Security Camera Program.

How Does It Work?

Many residents and business owners operate surveillance systems without realizing their footage could help solve nearby crimes. Likewise, deputies may not know who has cameras that could assist in an investigation.

By registering your system, the Sheriff’s Office can contact you if a criminal incident occurs near your location. Only if necessary, our Criminal Investigations Division may request access to your footage to assist in solving the crime.

Benefits of Registering Your Camera

  • Helps law enforcement quickly identify cameras that may have captured criminal activity.
  • You’ll only be contacted if an incident occurs near your cameras.
  • Assist in making Lincoln County a safer place by deterring crime.
